The Highlight of Camogli, Italy

It was October by the time we reached Camogli, located on the west side of the peninsula of Portofino, Liguria, northern Italy. The days were still warm but it was not exactly swimming weather. Mischa didn’t take much convincing: it was her only opportunity to swim in the Mediterranean sea. It was the icing on the cake for Mischa.

Whereas the cherry on top for me was choosing a restaurant. It always is.

  1. Oooo, only home one day and you are causing me to think about the next trip 🙂 Did I see somewhere that you have been unwell? I hope you are feeling better. Despite the first line, I’m deliriously happy to be home again for a while.

    1. Welcome home Ardys. yes, I have been unwell, a continuation of the same bug, taking on variations and mutations along the way. Only one thing to do- head to the tropics. Tomorrow Vietnam- heat, good food, massage and swim.

  2. I haven’t been to Camogli since 1983 when I discovered it by accident. I had a lovely day trip there, observing the setup for the annual fishfry – a huge event where a frying pan big enough to feed the whole city is erected on the beach. Gorgeous town.
